The Driving Theory Test is an essential requirement for obtaining your driver's license. It is a test that measures your knowledge and understanding of the Highway Code, which comprises of rules, regulations, and best practices related to road safety.
The Theory Test is conducted in two parts – the multiple-choice questions and the hazard perception test. The multiple-choice test consists of 50 questions, out of which you must answer at least 43 correctly to pass. The test is conducted on a computer, and you have 57 minutes to complete it. The second part of the test is the hazard perception test, which assesses your ability to identify and react to potential hazards while driving. The test consists of 14 video clips, each lasting around one minute, which shows various driving scenarios. You must identify potential hazards in each clip by clicking the mouse when they spot them. The earlier you identifies the hazard, the more points you score, with a maximum score of 5 points per clip.
