MyDriveTime App

By now you should have gotten a text asking you to download an app called MyDriveTime. This is the app I use to keep track of many things including next lesson, last lesson, payment info and your progress.

Please download and activate using the code in the text. Ensure you update any info about you in the app in case I've gotten anything wrong - oh and don't forget to put your driving license number in too.

There is a Resources section too crammed with useful info about driving and lessons, so have a look around.

Driving License Code

To ensure that I can insure you to drive my car I need a share code for your driving license, this gives me access to view the history of your license and ensure you are correctly insured.

All you need todo is visit the below website

and complete the details, you will need your NI number and of course your driving license,

Then click HERE to submit your details, the code is case-sensitive so please ensure you copy it exactly.

Also by now you should have an email regarding my terms and condition of giving lessons, sometimes it goes to Junk/Spam so check there first but if you haven't had it, please get in touch.

It's pretty painless, I've tried to keep the jargon to a minimum, but if there is anything you dont agree with or want to query I'm just a call away.

If your ok with it all, you just need to complete the digital signature.

Eyesight Test

It may not be the first thing you think of when starting out getting a license, but your eyesight needs to be legally good enough.

The legal requirement is to read a license plate at 20metres.

It's the first thing they ask you to do on a practical driving test AND eyesight tests are free in Scotland, so get them checked.

​

If you need to wear glasses or lenses please ensure you do and bring them to every lesson.

Pay for your lesson

All lessons are payable 48hrs in advance of each lesson. The simplest way to do this is to visit the online store and pay by debit/credit card HERE

If you wish to pay by Cash or Bank Transfer drop me a text and I will send you the detail's directly to your phone.

Lessons cancelled less than 48hrs before the booking will be subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the lesson rate.
